Relying on the shear force generated between rollers, the machine delivers fine grinding of soap raw materials, reducing materials down to micron-level particle size or finer. Operating Procedures of Soap Three Roll Mill Machine
First, complete the pre-operation preparation. Check whether all screws of the three-roll mill are tightened and all components are securely installed. Verify that the power connection is normal and the equipment is reliably grounded to avoid static buildup. Clean the roller surfaces to remove hard impurities, and confirm that the valves of the cooling water system are open.
Then, adjust the roller spacing. Turn the handwheels to set the gaps between the three rollers. There are four handwheels in total, arranged as two pairs on the same side. Use both hands to operate each pair synchronously for uniform inward and outward movement. This keeps the rollers parallel and avoids unilateral roller jamming. After adjustment, measure the gaps at both roller ends with a feeler gauge. The gaps on both sides must be equal and kept within 0.2 mm~0.8 mm. Generally, the gap between the slow roller and the middle roller is about twice the gap between the fast roller and the middle roller.
Next, start the three-roll mill. Power on the machine and run a 3-minute no-load test. Once no abnormal noise is found, mount the scraper against the discharge roller surface. Feed the soap raw material evenly onto the feed roller and middle roller. You may fine-tune the roller gap during running if required. Dry grinding without material between rollers is strictly prohibited. Rotate the plum-shaped handles on both sides of the scraper to adjust its contact pressure with the roller surface, so all processed material can be collected and transferred to the subsequent production process.
Finally, stop the grinding operation. Stop feeding raw materials first, widen the roller gap to a safe position, and then switch off the power supply. Clean soap residues and debris on and around the machine. Drain all cooling water inside the equipment to prevent internal rusting.
